How your Donation Dollars Help the Shelter

 

Memberships  this money goes into the general fund to pay for food and medicine, keep the lights on and pay the employees.

Spay/Neuter Fund  This money is used to pay veterinary costs to spay and neuter the pets of low-income persons or seniors on a fixed income.

Education/Kind News  this fund pays for the Kind News publication in our community grade schools, or for the other teaching materials or program rewards for young people.

Building Fund  this fund covers the costs of property maintenance; e.g., fence repair, drive and parking area repaving and snow removal. Surplus monies for this fund are kept for future renovations and remodeling.

Kelli's Fund  this fund provides emergency medical care and treatment for an individual animal above the shelter's normal ability to help.

Feline Fund  provides for any extra cat need.

Canine Fund  provides for special needs of dogs.

Teddy's Angels  our new sponsorship program encourages members to support a specific shelter animal until it's adopted into a new home.  See our Teddy's Angels section for more information.
