LOW COST SPAY/NEUTER

RCHS has partnered with Madison based Spay Me! to act as a drop-off point for pet owners needing low cost spays or neuters for their cats and dogs.  Spay Me!'s trained veterinarians provide low-cost spay/neuter surgery options for companion dogs and companion and community cats.  For more information or to make an appointment contact Spay Me! on their web site or Community Cats at  (608) 201-3241.

What is Kelly's Fund?
A number of years ago, a pup we named Kelli came to us who had been hit by a car and needed surgery on her pelvis.  Funds were solicited and generous people contributed to the cause and the excess was put into a fund that we named after this sweet, young pup, Kelli's Fund.  Sometimes the funds have dwindled. 

What if Rover is hit by a car and finds his way to us?  What if Sissy,
the kitten, keeps getting sick and we need to do some veterinary tests to find how to best treat her?  What about Bessie, who wags her tail so enthusiastically that she breaks open the end and it needs surgery? 
What about the cat who was put in a paper bag and set on fire by some delinquents?  We are supported by donations from the public and we only have a certain amount of funds available for "extra" care for our animals.

Your contributions to Kelli's Fund can enable out staff to better serve the animals who arrive here and to lead to the second chances that they all deserve.  Help us to help them.

Nigel is a bright and alert little poodle who meets you at his kennel gate with a big smile, bouncing and reaching his paws up to you to be held. Nigel is about 12 years old. Nigel has very poor teeth; in fact, they are bad enough that they need serious attention in order for him to have a healthy life.  At his age, it isn't ideal for him to be anesthetized (which needs to be done in order to do the dental work), but if the work isn't done, it may have worse consequences for him.  KELLI�S FUND can give him a chance for that.  We count on your contributions to make that happen.
